Hygienist Services

Hygienist Services

Suffered from bad breath, stained teeth, bleeding gums, tartar build-up?

The hygienist will help you. She will assess and diagnose the condition of your periodontium (gums and supporting structures). She'll clean, scale, polish teeth and give thorough instruction and advice about oral hygiene, cleaning, diet and care.

Getting into the habits of good oral hygiene and sound nutrition are the best things you can do to preserve your smile and keep it looking its best. In addition to daily brushing and flossing, it is important to schedule regular oral hygiene visits so we can help prevent many of the problems that lead to teeth decay and loss.

Orthodontics

If you're concerned about your child's breathing, swallowing, sleeping or general behaviour an early orthodontic assessment of your child's teeth, mouth and airway is essential in ensuring healthy growth and development. By addressing it early, while your child's jaw is still soft and developing we can correct any potential issues before they become major problems.

Mouth breathing, tongue thrusting, incorrect swallowing, thumb sucking and other myofuntional habits can cause malocclusion, poor facial development and relapse. With early diagnosis simple techniques including removable orthodontic trainers or plates can be used to alleviate existing problems.

Keith, Vikki and Deanna are all trained in the modern functional technique using removable appliances. We are also trained in fixed orthodontics (braces) for both children and adults.

Fixed orthodontics are used to correctly align the teeth to give you an unforgettable smile!

"Intravenous Sedation" - (Twilight sleep) for more extensive cases, all of your dentistry can be completed without you having any memory or recollection of it.
